It seems that everytime I talk about this game they release some sort of information about it. I should probably start talking about it more often.
Capcom announced that the game will indeed take advantage of the Wii's widescreen ability and also play in 480p. This may have been expected by most of you, but there's more!
They have confirmed that the game will take place between Code Veronica and RE:4 . That said the rumoured, 'REmake portions' are also confirmed. The game will essentially have two play modes. One in which you uncover plot bridging the two games, and another that throws you, once again, into classic RE settings with completely revamped controls, and obviously graphics.
The team working on the game are those responsible for the PS2 port of RE:4. Many speculate that the game will atleast be touched upon at Capcoms upcoming 'Gamers Day'.

Forget war on Terror there are bigger fish to fry!
Finally! the legendary rivalry will be put to rest, not due to a collective agreement, or respect, or the death and therefore submission of one party (though some will argue that one side of this epic war has been dead since his first 3d incarnations). The rabid fanboyism in all of us will soon make a glorious return* as Mario and Sonic face off in a battle royal!**
The Olympics! Thats right after years of training and Mario has finally broken into the world of Olympic athletics. Sonic? Well he's sort of like the Ethiopian who happened to run past an Olympic coach, whom then realized he was indeed, very fast.
The two will compete exclusively on the Wii. If you thought you looked stupid playing Wii boxing, wait until they make you Wii swim***
*Not talking about neo-fanboyism which is a watered down pissing contest, I'm talking about some good old fashion Nintendo v. Sega fanboyism.

If anybody here is familiar with the 'N-game' (biggest conspiracy since watergate) than you should be familiar with the hundreds of blogs who were so dedicated to figuring out the console we know as the Wii. Some blogs emerged from this with huge followings. Blogs like Mozlapunk, and the better known "Wii:Definitive Speculation" blog run by the infamous falafelkid. Well we have gotten some recognition. Thats right, after a chat session with falafel he offered to put THIS blog in his definitive list of blogs from which I have discovered many a blog (infendo, kotaku, gonintendo).

I've got an announcement to make. Next Tuesday I'll be taking a trip to Silicon Knights for a little tour. I don't think I'll be uncovering anything earth shattering but there should be some pretty cool photos, and I'll definitely post them here...if I'm not busy...No. I have to post them here or Pascuzzi will come to my house at 3am and force me to drink shots of tonic water until I vomit.
